About Us

We are a welcoming community who cherish the power and truth of the Holy Scriptures. We are confident that every part of the Scripture is inspired by God and given to us for guidance in living righteously, correcting where needed, and preparing us for good works, as beautifully outlined in 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

We hold to the belief that God has a purpose in saving us—one that fits into His divine plan, which He lovingly crafted from before the world was made, as shown in Ephesians 2:10. Our journey is to follow Jesus, our perfect example, striving to walk in His ways to fulfill our destiny while upholding biblical standards of living and leadership. We genuinely believe that living according to God’s Word leads to a life that is abundant and full of purpose.

The Trinity

We hold a belief in one God who exists beautifully in three unique persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as highlighted in 1 Corinthians 12:11 and Deuteronomy 6:4. We cherish the truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God made flesh, as highlighted in John 1:14, who came to this earth as our Savior to save all of humanity from sin. We also believe that after Jesus completed His work on the cross, He gave us the Holy Spirit to continue His mission, preparing us for works of service and ministry, as highlighted in John 14:16-18 and Matthew 28:19-20.

Salvation

We hold dear the belief that Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross, shedding His blood for our forgiveness. Romans 5:8 reminds us that God’s love shines brightly, showing us that even while we were still sinners, Christ chose to die for us.

We find reassurance in knowing that salvation is found only in the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 assures us that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, highlighting the unique and precious gift of His name.

Our hope is rooted in confessing Jesus as our Lord and trusting in His resurrection. Romans 10:9 assures us that if we openly declare Jesus as Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved.

As we look forward to Jesus’ return, we believe it’s our responsibility to keep our faith alive, complemented by our actions, as we eagerly await the final salvation of our souls. Philippians 2:12 and 1 Peter 1:5 remind us that this promise is secure when Jesus comes back for His church.

Water Baptism

We see water baptism as a symbol of turning away from our sins, inspired by Matthew 3:11 where it says, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance,” showing the cleansing power of God’s word, as mentioned in Ephesians 5:26, “that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.”

Baptism represents our death and resurrection with Jesus into a new life, as explained in Romans 6:4: “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

Furthermore, it is a testimony of our faith in Jesus Christ, as highlighted in 1 Peter 3:21, “There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Relationship With God

We believe that every believer should develop a relationship with God and grow in Him to reach a certain level, as described in Ephesians 4:13-15, becoming conformed to the image of Christ.

Communion

We see receiving Communion as a way to remember Jesus' sacrifice on the cross until His return, as explained in 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.
